Dr. Hu and her employees are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping confidential your personal health care information. Dr Hu, all of her employees and agents adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding patient privacy, including HIPPA (the Health Care Insurance Privacy and Protection Act), enacted on April 15, 2003.

Appointments

For the privacy and convenience of all our patients, visits to our office are by appointment only. Your appointment time is thoughtfully scheduled to best serve your needs in conjunction with our busy office schedule. We strive to stay on time so you are not left waiting for longer than a few minutes. As with any surgical practice, unexpected delays can and do occur occasionally. We try our best to keep you aware of this if this happens. If you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, please call our office as soon as possible so that we may accommodate you and reschedule your appointment.

Payment and Financing

Cosmetic surgery is an excellent personal investment. We believe that financial considerations are important but should not be a barrier to you achieving your personal aesthetic goals. Your cosmetic surgery consultation is often the first step towards a life-changing event in your life. By consulting with an expert professional like Dr. Hu, you will see that she is committed to providing the right service to you and treating you with respect. You will have ample opportunity to express your concerns and wishes, as consultation appointments can be up to one hour for some clients. Because the consultation is highly valuable before you begin the process of transforming your body to what you want it to be, our consultation fee is $50, and is applicable to your procedure fee. Many patients tell us this was the best appointment they have spent learning about cosmetic surgery from Dr. Hu and well worth the small fee! For minor surgical procedures performed in the office, 50% is due at the time of scheduling, and the remainder of the surgical fee is due at the time of the procedure. For non-surgical procedures, payment is expected at the time of service.

Monthly Payment Plan

For patients who prefer to pay for their procedure in convenient monthly installments, we offer financing through CareCredit® or ChaseHealthAdvance.

Insurance

To truly provide a complete range of personal aesthetic and reconstructive services, Dr. Hu gladly contracts with insurance companies. If you’re unsure about your coverage, please contact your insurance provider to confirm that Dr. Hu contracts with your health plan and that the surgery in which surgery you are is a covered benefit for you.
